Ranks of Research
　　Established in September，1984 and reorganized in June， 1999, Center for Studies of Sociological Theory & Method of Rinmin University, has been put in the list of Key Research Bases for Humanistic and Social Studies at General Institutions of Higher Learning subordinate to Ministry of Education, with Professor Zheng Hangsheng as the director. Under the Center, there are Research Rooms of Sociology, Social Measurement, Social Structure and Foreign Sociology. Presently, 16 full-time researchers (among whom 9 are professors) and 18 part-time researchers (among whom 17 are professors) are working for the center. Most full-time and part-time researchers from the Center have once been abroad for further studies or visiting researches. The academic leading personnel include Prof. Zheng Hangsheng, Prof. Li Qiang, Prof. Li Lulu, Prof. Pan Suiming and Prof. Liu Shaojie.
